  1. I try really hard not to Pin things that are REALLY not me. I am never going to make a turducken, my kids’ clothes, or even curtains. I think it’s fun for inspiration but if you aren’t doing anything you’re Pinning, it can just be a major time-suck.

  2. I love the article about Dear Me. It’s so well written, and poignantly true!

  3. I have totally fallen off the Pinterest bandwagon. The only thing I use it for now is an online bookmarker. And I have actually made quite a few of the things I’ve pinned, mainly because they are GF recipes and I need all the inspiration I can get in this category! ;)
I think Pinterest only is really useful for sharing really awesome images, tutorial type pages (I’ve found some great photography tutorials), and recipes or simple craft ideas you will actually do. At least that’s what works for me!

  4. Every time I read for college classes, eat lunch, or watch TV in the kitchen, a girl squirrel climbs on the screen door for me to feed her. I tried reading in the basement, but my cat jumps on to where I’m reading and starts purring loudly. I have to yell at the squirrel to get off the door and go away.
