What I Wore Last Week

It is time for a good old-fashioned “What I Wore” post. I managed to remember to take a few pictures which is some sort of summer miracle. We are in full summer mode around these parts which means some days I am lucky if I even comb my hair. But this week Hannah is in camp every morning and I actually have to get out of my car so…. Pretty things happen.

Navy and White

You can just never go wrong with stripes. It was a little cold this day so I wore this new hoodie from Old Navy. It is the softest stretchiest fabric. I love the way it feels. I have a feeling this will get a lot of use in the cool fall as well. (why do I look so tired??)

Top: Old Navy
Shorts: Limited
Shoes: Lands End

Peasant Shirt

Note to self. Don’t let 10 year olds take pictures unless you want to produce the most unflattering picture ever. That aside, I really love this new peasant shirt from Old Navy. Secret: it is from the kid’s department. A lot of time XL kids and XXL kids will fit you if you are on the petite side. It is kind of my new favorite place to shop.

Shirt: Old Navy
Shorts: Old Navy
Sandals: Payless (similar)

Birthday Outfit

I look super happy in this picture because I am about to go stuff my face at my favorite Italian restaurant for my birthday. Which is also why I look a little fancy. I never would have put this outfit together a year ago but reading more fashion blogs has allowed me to take more risks. I love how it came together.

T-shirt: Old Navy (similar)
Skirt: Thrifted J-Crew
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Groopdealz
Purse: Old Navy

Which look is your favorite?
