Top Ten Tuesday- Help Me Choose My Shutterfly Christmas Cards

Is anyone else in complete and total denial that it is NOVEMBER next week? That means Christmas is only a few months away. And that means it is time for me to start thinking about Christmas cards. I love, love, love everything about Christmas cards. I love going to my mail each day seeing who sent us one. I love picking out one of my own to send and show off my (completely unbiased opinion to follow) adorable and precious family. I even love hammering out our yearly Christmas letter (yes, I am a fan of the letter).

So I was thrilled when I was offered a chance to get this year’s cards from Shutterfly. They have over 700 holiday cards to chose from and I honestly look through every single one to try and narrow down my favorites. Do you have any idea how hard that was? I prefer Christmas photo cards to give and to get because for a lot of my friends, Christmas is the one time of a year when I get updates.

I thought it would be fun to let my readers help me chose my card. I will be using these fabulous pictures we had taken this summer at the beach. And I love each of these cards for different reasons, but honestly need help. So look over my favorites and leave me a comment letting me know which one you would pick.

So what do you think? Hopefully you found something you like. Or something you think I should like. I am actually giddy excited to hear your thoughts. Also, I should let you know that Shutterfly has Thanksgiving cards, New Year’s cards, Hanukkah cards and personalized thank you cards to meet your holiday needs. I am actually pretty jazzed to see cute New Year’s cards in case my procrastination gets out of control. Which one of these years is totally going to happen.

  1. Oh I like the “Family Roster” b/c it’s a good way to get the kiddos individually and the fam or you & your hubby … I’m a sucker for those!

  2. I really like the 1st one and the 4th one.

  3. I like the “We Heart You” design. The words in the middle really pop the message. Great options, all!

  4. I like the first two.

  5. I like the “we heart you” because of the traditional Christmas colors and the multiple photo spots. The first one is a close second!

  6. love 2010 is my favorite – i like the colors and the place to share the highlights of the year! of course if you send out a letter too, that’s not really a big deal… in that case, I like the first one – Faith Hope Family because it has room for plenty of pictures :)

  7. Def. the Family Roster Christmas Card…however they are all adorable. I had no idea shutterfly had so many options.

  8. For content, I prefer the first one – true message of Christmas! For design I like the 6th one – great layout, simple and picture focused.

  9. Hard to tell without seeing the pictures and the colors… but I really like the We Heart You one!
I like shutterfly, but I’m cheap so I make my own cards on photoshop and print them as 4×6 prints. It’s cheaper to mail them too as they fit in a regular card envelope. :) Cheapskates r’ us!

  10. Snowflake and We Heart You

Good luck on that decision. It’s going to be a tough one!

I like Elegant Snowflake because I think it would look nice with your beach photos!

  12. I like family roster, blooming tree, or love 2010. I like that you can give a short description of yearly events. I do love Christmas letters.

I like the Love 2010 and the Celebrate Family one. I’m going to have to check these out, I was thinking of making our cards on Shutterfly anyways!

I like the Christ Filled Christmas one that is number 5. I also liked 2010 though!

My qualifications knocks out anything that says Happy Holidays. It is Merry Christmas or some reminder that we are celebrating the Christ child.

    Just my 2 cents!

  15. Lovely designs all, but I’d actually consider using your own family. >;-)

  16. Alicia's Homemaking says:

Oh, I like the second one and the last one best. :D

  17. I like the Love 2010–if you weren’t doing a letter, it’s a chance to list the year’s highlights. Since you do a letter, maybe the family roster–seems to fit since you have 3 kids. Anyway, they’re all good choices! Fun post!

  18. It’s so hard to choose! We just ordered our cards from tinyprints while they were having a sale (before I knew about the Shutterfly offer (drat!) and I can’t wait to get them. I really like the first, second and “we heart you” designs. But I think until you start playing with them and the photos you have to choose from, it’s hard to tell what will turn out best. The family roster one is also really cute. Best of luck with your decision process! It took us 3 DAYS to get our photos, text and layout all picked out :) Our first time sending Christmas cards in 10 years! How bad are we?? And I adore getting Christmas cards myself so I can’t believe I let the obstacle of selecting one and planning it out be such a huge hurdle for so long!
