Awesome because I created them. There is a little bit of something for everyone here. Except country. I don’t do country.
- Glee
: This is #1 because hello? Oh my goodness do I love this station. Glee soundtrack mixed with a little Broadway, some movie soundtracks and a lot of Michael Buble
. And it is 99% safe for the kiddos.
- Laurie Berkner
: Even more safe for the kids. And better yet, it is kid’s music that won’t make your ears bleed. We love us some Goldfish. (Here are some other kid’s albums we love)
- Black
: When I want to relive the college years, I turn to Pearl Jam. Ten
will forever be one of the greatest albums of all time. Seriously.
- Sarah McLachlan
: Leaning more towards college angst? Try Sarah mixed with a bit of Tori Amos
and Indigo Girls
. Relive that time you went to the Lilith Fair.
- Journey
: I mix it with Heart and Pat Benatar
. Cause Love is a Battlefield baby. This morning I may or may not have been playing air guitar to “More Than A Feeling” while listening to this station.
- Fleetwood Mac
: A little bit different twist on classic rock. I personally believe they are one of the best bands ever. And you get a little Stevie Nicks solo effort thrown in. Just like a one-winged dove.
- Salt N Pepa
: Definitely not child appropriate. But there is nothing like some old school rap when the kids aren’t around. Push it, Push it good.
- Jennifer Knapp
: My all time fave Christian singer. This station throws in a lot of Third Day and Plumb too which is never a bad thing. Kansas
is by far the best album to come to Christian music in the past many decades.
- Justin Timberlake
: Yeah, I love him. I’m not ashamed. Nor am I ashamed I like that this station plays a lot of Britney
and Christina
. Ok, I’m a little ashamed. We can just think of it as the Mickey Mouse Club station if that makes it better.
- Thriller
: Does this need an explanation? You can’t go wrong with MJ. Well his music anyway. Good stuff.
What station have you created on Pandora?
For more Top Ten Tuesday, head over to Oh Amanda.

I love your playlists. Though, I would make Fleetwood Mac #1.
Wow, I could do 1, 7, and 8. Otherwise, ears would be.bleeding. Hahaha. BTW – JK has a new CD out in May. Thought of you when I heard about it.
I didn’t realize there was a Glee station!!! Yahoo!!! I’m turning it on!!!!
“I don’t do country,” says the girl who did Reba at karaoke night.
I love my Glee station, too. I’ve amped up the cheese by adding Disney movies to it. Glee + Broadway + Disney = awesome.
I have a Michael Jackson station AND a Bobby Brown station. Turns out they play mostly the same music.
My favorite stations of the moment, though, are Kathy Mattea (old country – is that even worse in your book?) and Roxette (which, strangely enough, plays a lot of Bon Jovi, too).
Going to create me a Jennifer Knapp station now…
.-= Mary @ Giving Up on Perfect´s last blog ..Some things I think you might like reading =-.
Reba is an exception. And Taylor Swift. And maybe Carrie Underwood. Dang it!!
Your list is a little foreign to me … but I’m sure it’s good!! LOL at Mary calling you out!!
I love LOVE that you are a classically trained musician (like I am) and you still love cheesy pop music (like I do). HEART.
I can’t figure out how to make new pandora stations on my droid, do you know how? I can only do it online. But my 2 favs are Glee and Kelly Clarkson. I am abouot to steal a couple of your ideas too (hello thriller).

I actually haven’t tried. I just do it on my computer.
I didn’t even think about finding Laurie Berkner. My 1 yr old LOVES her. I will have to put it on after her nap!
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. You mentioned Sarah McLachlan and I too went to Lilith Fair back in my college days. What a great time!
And I will be searching for the Salt N Pepa station too!

I love JJ Heller station. Or David Crowder Band. Or Michael Buble.
I’m not even going to read this. I’m just going to forward it to my husband. Maybe he’ll leave you a comment.

I even gave you a shout out and everything!!
Those sound great! I tend to get stuck in a rut musically speaking. I hadn’t even thought of Fleetwood Mac – I’m sooooo all over that next time I have a long training walk by myself! Yay! (Also your selections are pretty much spot on for what I like, so knowing you like it too makes me feel much less un-hip and goobery.)
.-= Megan (FriedOkra)´s last blog ..Be Still Life =-.
ooh, does that make me hip and un-goobery? I am loving that!!
I LOVE Fleetwood Mac & Sarah. (and, yes, we’re on a first name basis. teehee.) Great list!
