I know when we talk holidays we often talk presents and food, but we have neglected a very important element. FASHION!! There are some important events coming up and you don’t want to be left rummaging through the closet in a panic wondering what to wear. I have put together a few of my favorite looks for Thanksgiving dinner, Black Friday shopping, and your holidays parties (swanky vintage inspired looks that make you feel like a million bucks.
Thanksgiving Day: The key here is layers and stretchy pants to maximize food consumption without showing off your food baby. I think these velvet leggings are perfect because they add a touch of dressiness to an otherwise casual outfit. Plus how adorable is this cardigan??!!!
Black Friday Shopping: Up at the crack of dawn (Brrrr) and in and out of hot cars to cold air to warm stores. Plus you never know if you will be waiting in line. The key here is lots of layers but also something really casual because comfort is key when you are on a mission.
Holiday Parties: I like to go all out for holiday parties. It seems to be one time where it is okay if you are a little overdressed. This look is totally vintage and, I’m not going to lie, totally planned around this gorgeous coat.
Disclosure: Modcloth challenged me to put together a few outfits for the season using their fashion. Check out their great selection of cardigans. I was not compensated in any way, but thought it was a fun challenge.
