Things I Love Thursday- The “I Need Your Help” Edition

tilt  I think at some point after sitting for an hour trying to figure out “what you love” you need to throw in the towel.

I used to say yes to a lot more product reviews and TILT was an easy place to put them. But I started to hate my own blog feeling as though it had turned into a giant infomercial. So I started saying yes about a third as often.

But the unintended side affect is that TILT’s have become a lot harder to write some weeks. I love me a lot of things. But they aren’t all worthy of a blog post.

So part of this is me asking my readers if they still enjoy Things I Love Thursday. And part of this is me excusing the fact that this week there just isn’t anything happening here. But either way I would love your feedback.

Do you enjoy reading Things I Love Thursday posts? Would you miss it if the link up went away?

While we solve this problem and contemplate tackling world peace, feel free to still link up your Things I Love Thursday posts. Remember to link back here and spread the love around to other participants. If you are new (sorry about the lameness this week), check out all the Things I Love Thursday guidelines.

  5. Jill, I always love the opportunity to have writing inspiration … but you know me. You should write about what you want. And if you don’t want to write TILT anymore, don’t. This is your realm. :)

  8. Hello! I just posted about the Oil Cleansing Method. If you haven’t heard of this or tried it you really should. Your skin will look better then ever and you body will be happy you are not using any chemicalized products. My skin looks better then it did when I was in my 20’s!

  10. Just as I don’t link up to TILT every week, I wouldn’t expect that you’d have something to write about each and every week for it. But it is nice to have a “gathering place” every week that we can count on. Perhaps some weeks you could just ask what we’re loving, without feeling the need to add your own?

That being said, I certainly understand burnout and not wanting to continue!

  11. So, I’m a little behind on my blog reading, but I agree that if you don’t WANT to do it, don’t do it. If you want to do it, but you just don’t want to write a TILT post, you could do a guest post or have like “OK next week are HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS we love” or whatever, so it could be like a writing prompt?

I should disclose to you that I almost write this post about once a week to my readers, too.. not about a carnival obviously but just, you know, stuff.
