Things I Love Thursday- SOMA Intimates

TILT There is nothing I love more than a good pair of pajamas. Mainly because I don’t really own a good pair of pajamas. Unless you consider yoga pants and one of my hubby’s t-shirts good pajamas. Or the pajama pants I bought before I had kids that are stretched out and stained. Pajamas are one of those things I think most women want, but don’t spend money on for themselves. There is always some other article of clothing calling our name.

So wouldn’t pajamas be the perfect Christmas gift for someone you love? But I find they are kind of hard to buy because they are kind of personal. While some are flannel types, others lean more towards satin. You can guess, but what if you guess wrong. Enter Soma Intimates and their personality pjs.

First you take a quiz where they determine which “personality” you have. I think I was a bit schizophrenic, but they determined I was chic. Well of COURSE. Could we not have all told them that? They also have Glam (how did I not get that?), Romantic, Wild, Classic and Fun (clearly I could be all of the above). And then they give you choices based on what personality you are.

There are tons of pjs to chose from and they come in satin and jersey. And they come in sizes from XS-XL. They are a little bit pricier than my typical Old Navy or Target pjs, but they are really high quality. And right now when you buy more than one pair, you will get 50% off the higher priced pair of pjs. Just in time for the holidays. Maybe get the second pair for yourself. As a little gift to the hubby ;)

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Soma Intimates and received a pair of Personality PJs to thank me for taking the time to participate.

What do you love this week? Something Christmas-y perhaps? Write a post about it, make sure to mention this carnival, link up to Mr. Linky, then spread the comment love around to the other participants. So easy!! Here are the official Things I Love Thursday guidelines.

  1. I’m a little disappointed that we did get any pictures — I want to see these cute PJ’s!!
    {BTW, my pj’s have dogs on them!}

  2. Hahaha… I’m glam and classic. They got the last part right. I don’t spend a lot of money on PJs because I know that they are gonna get boogered and graham cracker gooed. Besides, I like my Old Navy PJs. :)
    P.S. Adam and I started a tradition where we get new PJs for a Christmas Eve gift and then we wear them that night and wake up in our new PJs Christmas morning. :)

  3. I got glam and wild. I thought for sure it would be something boring! How fun, thanks!

  4. I have such trouble with pj bottoms for my long legs. I have to buy men’s! Enjoy your new jammies

  5. I’m also more of a sweat pant and old t-shirt pj person, but the quiz sounds fun. I’ll have to check it out!

  7. I agree that pajamas make a wonderful Christmas gift. I believe they work for women, kids and yes even men. We (actually my very creative wife) created a Christmas tradition many years ago that involves pajamas and Christmas time. You can read about it at the main page of my blog which is linked elsewhere to a woman specific page. Sounds like Holly is doing or starting the same kind of tradition that we’ve done Awesome!!

  8. My favorite pj’s are the one’s made of modal cotton. LOVE THEM! I ask for them every birthday and Christmas now. They are soooo comfy, still feel sexy in them and they don’t make you feel too hot at night. Heck, they could even pass as clothes for your morning school trips. Highly advise trying a pair (even Target carries it in their Gilligan O’Malley collection).

  9. I bought one for my mom and she totally loved it so I bought one for myself and have been sleeping in them ever since. I totally love them.
