Things I Love Thursday- Bloggin'

computer.jpg I started this thing a mere 6 months ago as I random experiment and did not know of the love affair that would develop. It has been a challenge to balance it with the other loves of my life as this love wants to demand all my time and energy. I have managed to drag a few real life friendsinto this messy affair and have made even more bloggity friends in the process (put all the real life friends into links on each word-go check them out). Even the hubby began playing along.

So in the spirit of my love affair, I have joined a new venture (the hubby will be so thrilled). You may remember in November I participated in NaBloPoMo where I pledged to blog every day in the month. I did pretty good, so now I have gone and done something absolutely INSANE. I have joined up with Blog365 where I am committing to blog everyday in 2008. I feel like my kids are really getting old enough to parent themselves and the hubby requires very little maintenance anymore. Plus he is kept happy with “The Challenge.”

So, come over and join me. If you do, please be my friend (could I sound any needier). Also, I need friends on Facebook so come over there too. I am pretty set for friends in real life so you need not apply. In fact, I think I am beginning to have too many so a few of you may get downsized in 2008. The economy is tough this year, what can I say. If this concerns you in any way, I can always be bought with chocolate…or guacamole…but not mixed together…that would just be gross.

I concur. You could not be righter.

  2. I would be your friend if I was coo-coo enough to join Blog365 but I’m NOT! I would be your friend if I was on Facebook but I’m NOT! (I am on Myspace though…that’s where I first started blogging. Oh the good ‘ol days…sniff sniff.) Anyways, this comment is getting a bit long. But I also want to add that I would be your real life friend if you didn’t already have so many, and if I weren’t already so very busy stalking you.
    :)

  3. Interesting challenge. I haven’t heard of the Blog365. My homeschooling e-loop has a Project 365 webring. That’s how I started with my P365. It’s more about taking a picture every day (and posting it on the blog) than blogging every day. Dh and I have blogged almost every day of 2007. It does take work (especially if you want your post to be well-written, ha!).

  4. Holy cow- everyday!!! There’s no way I could do that- I totally admire you. If I did it I’d have more days saying “I got nothin'” than I would real stuff. That’s cool though- I liked it when you blogged every day in Nov so this will be good for all of your online stalkers – er- friends :).

  5. I actually thought about that, but NaBloPoMo put so much pressure on me that even though I usually blog every day anyway it was sapping all the fun out of it for me. But I’m glad many people are doing it, I like to see people posting regularly.

  6. I’m honored to be your real friend, but no 365 for me.

  7. Your insane! I hope this doesn’t mean that we won’t be seeing you at the parks this summer because your at home blogging ;)

  8. Don’t you blog everyday anyway??? I wish I had the time to blog 365 but obviously, I would never make it. Now, it there was a Blog5, I might be able to swing that.

question for you, i signed up with blog365, now as for posting everyday, i’m cool with that – do i have to go to blog365 and post, or will it carry over posts from my wordpress blog? i know it’s a dumb question, but i’m new at this thing.

  10. good luck with Blog365. I’m doing it too!
