There is something about me that just loves St. Patty’s Day. I have no idea why. I’m not Irish. I’m not a beer or whisky drinker. Corned Beef and Cabbage make me want to barf. Maybe it is the green. I do like wearing green.
I think it is the whole Leprechaun, pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, four leaf clover thing. Or just me missing a childhood in which my mom let me eat Lucky Charms.
Here is a round-up of my favorite St. Patty’s Day treats and crafts! So treats today. Crafts tomorrow. Ready, set, GO!
These are absolutely adorable and I love that fact that they are semi-homemade. Dang it this picture makes me want Oreos something fierce.
Um this one had me at Lucky Charms. Plus chocolate. Plus peanut butter. Oh my word I am DROOLING!
This one is so easy to pull off. I love pretzels with chocolate. Can’t get enough of that salty sweet thing.
We are back to Oreos again. Because every dessert should revolve around Oreos. I love the idea of making the pudding mint as well. How perfect for St. Pattys!!
Okay this one isn’t easy, but it is adorable. And what I love is that your kids/ guests wouldn’t even there is a shamrock inside the cake. This would be so fun to make at every holiday.
So easy to take a simple dessert and make it festive. Clearly I need more holiday cookie cutters.
Rice Krispie treats are the ultimate throwback treat to my childhood. Add some mint and some chocolate? Yummo!!
Are you detecting a theme? I love the mint-chocolate combination. I love the idea of using creme de menthe chips. These are at the top of my list to make this weekend!
I have this weird thing for chocolate bark. I have no idea what that is about. But how cute are these little shamrock sprinkles??!!!
Here it is. The mother of all St. Patty’s Day treats. The Shamrock Shake. You can buy the “filled with God knows what” Micky Ds version. Or you can make this easy one. OR you can make this slightly more adult version from Parenting Miracles.
