Some Exciting Partnerships

partner  I wanted to let you know about a few blogging partnerships I have been asked to be a part of that I am really excited about. You will be hearing about them from time to time, but I thought I would give you the heads up now.

Cookie Magazine approached me about a month ago to be part of their newly created “Word-of-Mom” panel. I have read the magazine from time to time and love how it is trying to set itself apart from other parenting magazines out there. I thought it was a really good fit for me since it is about being a mom while still retaining your “premotherhood” sense of style and adventure. The magazine is really hip and modern and I am so excited to see how we will be working together in the future. Stay tuned tomorrow for some info on a great event they have coming up.

Second, at BlogHer, I had a great opportunity to diaglogue with the people behind PBS Sprout. Actually I ran over to their table when I saw that Nina from the Goodnight Show was autographing pictures. My kids love that show and so I jumped at the chance to get a picture with her. Then I discovered that PBS Sprout was partnering with bloggers to help get the word out about their programming and get feedback from moms about what we want from them. Our family loves PBS Sprout because although I try to limit TV in general I definitely try to limit commercials when my kids do have the TV on. PBS has always been top on our list because of their educational programming and PBS Sprout has some great favorites your kids will love.

Finally, I have talked a lot about my love for eBeanstalk since I started this blog. They are one of the few companies whose ads I have placed on my blog and I really believe in their company. They have great educational toys that aren’t all about noises and lights, but are far more like the toys we grew up with. They group their toys based on age and developmental level so you can be sure you are getting age appropriate toys. I have been providing feedback for them as part of their motherboard for several years, but now they are partnering with bloggers. I will be giving you the lowdown on a great toy of theirs for my TILT post this week.

Trust me, as usual, I will only be talking about things I really believe in, but I am thrilled to be able to have more opportunities to dialogue with companies who get that moms have something important to say. And as you know, I am never at a loss for words or opinions. Plus there will be more opportunities for me to host giveaways and pass on great info and products to all of you. So stay tuned….
