When I was asked by The Motherhood if I would like to work with them on a fashion campaign, I replied with one word. SQUEE!!
I will be honest and confess, before this, I had never wandered in to a J.Jill store. I assumed that their stuff was more for a career woman and seeing as I could easily spend an entire week in yoga pants and no one would notice.
But I was wrong. When I walked into J.Jill the first thing I noticed was the customer service. I was immediately greeted by a sales attendant who was the perfect mix of super helpful but not overbearing. There were women working there in every shape and size and they all wore the J.Jill brand perfectly.
The second thing I noticed was that their fashions were simple and cozy. I seriously felt like there should be a fireplace with hot chocolate in the fitting rooms because everything I tried on just felt like being enveloped in a big blanket.
The Pure Jill line is inspired by nature and a woman’s natural beauty
J.Jill’s philosophy is that a woman’s wardrobe should be uncomplicated. They know the women who shop their stores lead busy lives and they don’t want fashion to be something that takes a lot of time and effort. Their stores are easy to navigate and staffed with helpful sales associates. Their clothes are modern, inspired by nature, and crafted from high quality materials. And with offerings in misses, petite, tall and women’s clothing, they have something for everyone.
Their Pure Jill line is filled with relaxing, comfortable clothes made from fine fabrics. I am obsessed with this dress.
What I love about J.Jill is that their pieces aren’t slaves to trends. They are classics that you will wear over and over. My experience with their website and store definitely lived up to their uncomplicated philosophy. It was a great experience from beginning to end.
When it came time to choose my J.Jill pieces I immediately landed upon this floral blouse. I have been on the hunt for one since last year when the floral trend started but haven’t found anything I loved. Until now.
I paired it with some cream skinny cords and my brown boots. I love the delicate pattern and the coral color. I will note that J.Jill ran a little big on me (this shirt is an XS), but I would have loved to try their petites which they didn’t carry in my store.
my attempt at a serious fashion blogger pose. I think I look constipated.
I also paired it with a gorgeous lightweight sweater.

I am so in love with this color. It looks really orange in the picture, but in real life it has more of a salmon tone. And it is really lightweight so I think I will get a lot of use out of it during the transitional seasons. I am always on the hunt for clothing pieces that allow me to do that.
What most impressed me about J.Jill was their J.Jill Compassion Fund. The Compassion Fund is committed to providing support to women in need. And they have made giving back so easy. From Dec. 3-24th, 5% of and J.Jill gift card purchased will go to the charity of your choice. Also during their “We’ve Made Giving Easy Event” from Dec. 12–15, shoppers will receive 20% off their entire purchase, plus 5% of purchase will go to the charity of her choice.
J.Jill also has something special for my readers. Take 30% off any single (full priced) piece from the J.Jill collection from now through the 24th with the code JJSTYLE. Offer good in stores, at JJill.com or via catalog. Limit one coupon per person, for one-time use only. ‘
What would you buy?
