Frugal Friday- Rite Aid Rewards

Dear Rite Aid:

Your deals have been kinda sucky lately. Not tryin’ to hate, just keepin’ it real. I mean, I love me some single check rebates. And the video values? Well they are really long and boring and you won’t let me surf the web while wathing. Also you appear to be on to the fact that I let them play and then leave the room because you don’t give me very long to enter that code after watching them, but who am I to complain. Saving money for watching commercials, that isn’t so bad.

But now…now, I ain’t got nothin’ but love for ya (is all this street talk working? I think I got a lot of street cred up in here. HOLLA!!) Anyway, a third way to earn extra money by shopping there? May I just give you a big HOLLA!! (no? not working? Ok, I’ll stop :(

Rite Aid is now offering a new wellness+ reward card. And although I need another thingy on my keychain like I need a hole in the head, this one affords you some pretty good deals. First off, like a CVS card, you get sale prices that are only offered to card holders. You also get 10% off all Rite Aid brand purchases. Then, you get 1 point for every non-prescription dollar you spend. As well as 25 points for every prescription you fill. Points will accumulate and earn you even more things. Like cars!! No just kidding no cars.Sorry.

Signing up is free. You can sign up here. Or in the store. And word on the street (I iz so street!!!) is that Walgreens is piloting a similar program. When I find out more about that one I will let you all know.

I have no affiliation with Rite Aid at all. I just think this is a good deal and wanted to pass it on. However if Rite Aid wants to shower me with money for posting about this that would be a’right. For more frugal tips head over to Life As Mom.

  1. Sweet!! I’ll swing by your house for some street lessons – I think it’s a prereq. for engaging in business at my local Rite Aid.

  2. I saw this last time i was in there & applied. very exciting! I agree about the SCR — Love ’em, but don’t like having to wait to get them til all at once. Cash in hand is MUCH nicer (like CVS & Wags).

Thanks for the blog… LOVE it!

  3. Just passed on a “Sweet Blog” award to you over at Of Such is the Kingdom. Thanks for writing a great blog!
