Frugal Friday- Coupon Mom

Very difficult to talk about frugality when staying at the Trump towers. I will share more of that tomorrow, but let me just say that there is a bottle of water sitting next to me as I type that costs $25. Unless angels peed that water, I am pretty sure it is not worth that much. Maybe $20. This place is crazy unfrugal so I have to switch hats.

My couponing process is long and detailed and someday I really will have to tell you about it. Cause it is involved, but works so brilliantly that I really must share. Some other timethough, cause it is crazy late and I need to go lay my head on my lavendar scented pillow. Sometimes despite my coupon and stockpiling system, I run out of something and have to get it even though it is (gasp) not on sale. But I still want to get a good deal, right?

Enter, Coupon Mom. Now, she has all sorts of fantastic stuff going on (so snoop around over there), but what I like the most is her coupon database. First, let me say you have to register on her site to access it, but that is super easy to do and as far as I can tell there are no negative repercussions from doing so (spam, weird stalker emails, etc.). Then you just type in your state and you can search any product to see if there are any available coupons for that product. It will then tell you the Sunday that the coupon came out in. Since I don’t actually “cut” coupons, but keep them intact the way the came in the paper, I can quickly find the coupon I need and use them on whatever I want. I also use this to cross check any deals I come across on the internet. She does all the work, I get stuff for cheap!!

Hoping that makes sense cause I am just plain tired and feeling like my brain is only functioning at half capacity. I will be back to my typical 78% tomorrow when I will tell you all about the crazy adventure that is staying at a place that is named after “The Donald.” For possibly more coherent frugal tips, head over to Biblical Womanhood.
