Fourth of July with Style

Next week is one of my favorite holidays. Not because I am particularly patriotic or even enjoy fireworks or parades. It is because I love a holiday where you have an excuse to dress up. And by dress up I certainly don’t mean get fancy. I mean break out the red, white and blue.

Here is what you DON’T want to do:

There are ways to dress for the 4th without a flag in site. Here are a few outfits I would totally rock on the 4th.

4th of July

dress, scarf, shoes

A navy and white striped maxi with a red chevron scarf and gladiator sandals. I love mixing prints and you got all your colors covered.

4th of July 2

tank, shirt, shorts

I have these white cutoffs and they are in heavy rotation. Add in a patterned red top and you already have your chambray shirt right? RIGHT??!!!

4th of July 3

tank, skirt, necklace

This is a little dressier, but perhaps you have an adult only BBQ or a girl’s night out. I like to wear red, white and blue for more than just the actual fourth so maybe you can find an excuse to wear a few different combos throughout the holiday week!

How do you rock 4th of July style?

  1. I am so boring. I always seem to fall back on a flippy little white skirt, red & white striped tank, and a cute navy button-down over that. That is my go-to patriotic holiday outfit. Well, that or my kitten among the fireworks shirt, of course.
