I will admit that too many times in my fashion life I have sacrificed comfort for style. Pants that are a little too tight but cute and on sale. A dress with a scratchy zipper that is super trendy. Or, the worst, an itchy wool sweater or a shirt.
But most of my sacrifices have been in the shoe department. Which has led to many a night where I have ended up taking off my shoes halfway through an event while my feet cry out in pain. I have even been known to walk barefoot through the street because my poor feet just can’t take it anymore.
But why does it have to be either/ or? Why can’t super cute shoes also be comfortable? I mean, this is 2014. Surely this isn’t an impossible dream!
Well, thanks to Earth Footwear, you can have your cake and eat it too. Or something pithy that fits better with shoes.
You might have seen this outfit on Wednesday:
Did you check out those shoes? A gorgeous metallic. Sweet geometric cut outs. Perfectly on trend for spring. I am wearing the Begonia which I love but they have some other great styles in the Earth Footwear spring line. But the comfort? The comfort is what you need to know about.
The first thing I noticed when I slipped on the shoes was the way they cushioned my feet. There is tons of support in the arch and extra padding on the heel. Perfect for a day when you have a lot of walking to do (shopping on Michigan Ave perhaps) or stand on your feet. I wore them traveling and walking through airports and could not believe how well they held up.
This is another example of you get what you pay for. I have bought far too many shoes at Payless and been unable to wear them because they hurt my feet so badly. Earth Footwear is very reasonably priced with the majority of their shoes under $100! Well worth it for how truly comfortable they are.
You can find Earth Footwear at many online retailers or in stores across America. You can also find them across social media on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Also, be sure to sign up for their Earth eNewsletter and you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing. Whatever you do, get yourself some comfy shoes!
Disclosure: I was provided a pair of shoes to facilitate my review. This post is linked up to Fashion Friday at Musings of a Housewife.
