Diapers Gone Bad

diaper

Are you a Facebook fan of The Diaper Diaries yet? You know you can be. Join a very distinguished group of people. Well mostly distinguished.

You see a while back I checked in and noticed I had quite a few new fans. I was super excited thinking “Ooh, look how popular I am.” I gave my hubby the number and patted myself on the back. Then I started scrolling through the list of fans looking for all your smiling faces.

Instead I was greeted with close ups of men in diapers. And by close ups I mean OF THEIR DIAPERS. Some had normal names, but others had names like Diaper Lover and ugh. I blocked it out. And as I scrolled they kept appearing. And appearing. And appearing.

I hesitate to even write about his for fear of the searches that will bring people to my blog. So I will be a bit vague and if you want to learn more feel free to search about the web at your own discretion. Apparently there are grown up men and women who like to pretend they are babies. And wear diapers. And be “mothered.” I don’t know what else is happening there, but I think this is one of those ignorance is bliss moments.

I guess with the name Diaper Diaries you attract such fans. And I hate to turn away a fan, but I am pretty confident these fans would find my blog uninteresting. I know, I know…how could anyone find my blog uninteresting? But I think they might be looking for slightly different content. So I exercise my American right to hit the “block” button.  And I mentally block out the images from my brain.

I had to block over 100 fans. ONE HUNDRED DIAPER WEARING FANS. And every week I go back and scroll through and find a few more. And I shudder, hit block and go about my life pretending I know nothing of such things. And although occasionally when I laugh or sneeze I think wearing a diaper wouldn’t be so bad, I’m thinking unless you are an astronaut going after your ex lovers new girlfriend or an octogenarian diapers should best be left to babies. Can I get an AMEN?

  1. Wow…I just don’t know what to say. I had no idea that people like this existed!

  2. That is sooooooooooo funny! I’m always amazed to hear about the weird things people are into. I’m thinking that these people don’t have kids- otherwise they wouldn’t have such an affinity for diapers. After three kids- that are all now potty trained- if I never see a diaper again it’ll be too soon!

  9. yeah i saw this on your twitter back then. Luke (husband) was sitting next to me and I opened up the link you’d posted about it… Anyways, we read some of it and looked at each other and said ‘I don’t want to know any more’. wanted to go throw up.
Just disturbing. Some people need to grow up, quite literally.
I mean, I’m all for being babied when I’m sick, if what you mean is brought soup in bed and allowed to watch TV shows on the couch…. But…. anyways, ewww.
Guess I’m not very tolerant of alternative lifestyles?

Reminds me of all the twitter followers I check out and end up getting an eyefull of va-jay-jay. Ugh.
That’s probably totally random and not targeted to my name. At least I hope so.

My friend once used one when she didn’t want to leave her kids alone in the camper when she had to well, you know, go.
