I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
It is VERY well documented on this blog that I have a love affair with Cascade. I am not always brand loyal, but Cascade is one of those brands that when I cheat on them, I always regret it. Nothing else gets my dishes as clean.
I don’t know when it was that I first tried dishwashing detergent in pac form but I have never looked back. Partly because it is less messy and easier to deal with. But the deal sealer is that my kids LOVE to run the dishwasher with those things and I know they will get the detergent exactly right.
I was sent the new Cascade Platinum Pacs which are like my old Cascade pacs on steroids. Because now they don’t only clean my dishes, but they feature an advanced triple action recipe that actually cleans my dishwasher as well!! Why wouldn’t you get these???? (plus their pretty which irrationally makes me love them more).
With the addition of the baby to our family my dishwasher seems to be running constantly. Seriously typically two times a day. It is madness. So when a product saves me time I will become loyal forever. With Cascade Platinum Pacs I don’t have to pre-rinse my dishes and my dishes never come out with gunk on them. Sigh. Who new dishwashing could make me so happy?
My kids don’t care if my dishes are spotless, but from time to time we have people over and they may not want my kid’s crusted leftovers on their plates. Cascade has partnered with Gail Simmons, the Top Chef judge and editor of Food + Wine magazine, and she believes that presentation is just as important as preparation. Here is what she has to say:
Cascade is currently running a great contest where each week two people will have the chance to win one of two brand new Whirlpool dishwashers. One grand prize winner will receive a Platinum Kitchen makeover. To win you need to register and Instagram a photo with the #MyPlatinum hashtag and tag @MyCascade.
