I don’t want to brag about my fashion prowess, but I bought my camo pants before they were everywhere. And I immediately began wearing them as much as possible. But I was really stuck with my combos. Pretty much black sweater or tshirt with camo pants. Which became quite boring quite quick.
But lately I have been trying to use Pinterest and fashion blogs for inspiration and shaking my camo world up a bit. And then I planned on taking a bunch of pictures and showing you all the fun ways I styled them. I accomplished getting one outfit captured this weekend. It was just a busy weekend. And since my photographer works all week, it is what we have to work with.

Note to self: Always wear sunglasses in pictures. Oddly enough the bags under my eyes don’t photograph so well…..
Anyway, I love this combo of denim and gray with camos. And I really like them with a sporty shoe (ps. I got these shoes a few years ago at Blissdom and they are the most comfortable shoes on the planet).
I perused Pinterest for some more inspiration so I can get the most out of my camos this spring. Here are a few of my favorite looks.
I love how Lindsey pairs her camos with a simple graphic tee. It makes it more interesting than just a plain white or grey tee. This graphic is rather plain, but I think you could go even a little bolder with a more colorful tee as long as it stays fairly neutral.
I happen to have an orange blazer and would never think to pair it with camo. This one has more of a coral feel. Orange might be a little too “hunter in the woods”. But I am definitely loving the bright color with camo. I came across some hot pink looks on Pinterest as well. I am not that brave, but it was adorable.
I absolutely love the look of oxblood with camo. This is probably more of a fall look than a spring look but how fabulous is it? I suddenly have a desperate need for some oxblood in my closet.
I know I said that I wanted something other than black to pair with camo and then highlighted a black and white look. But I love how Shanna totally dressed up her camo. Add a dressy black blazer and some heels and suddenly you are ready for a night out on the town. I will be trying this look the next time I go out. If only I had plans….
Have you tried camo jeans? What is your favorite look?
