Back To School Style With Old Navy

Old Navy Back to School

Disclosure: This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Old Navy. The opinions and text are all mine.

It pains me to say these words, but it is back to school time. Actually I teeter a bit between counting down the days until we can have sanity and routine again and praying the days will slow down already so we can continue our lazy summer.

When I was younger one of my favorite parts of back to school was getting to shop for new clothes. It appears the oldest apple has not fallen far from the tree. We had a shopping spree at Old Navy last week and it appears I have a new shopping buddy. We are quite the pair!

Lily is reaching the age where we don’t always see to eye to eye about what to wear. She generally has a really good fashion sense, but gone are the days where I could bring home clothes and she would unanimously approve. Lucky for me we have so much fun shopping together that it has become more about the journey than the outcome. Although I am pretty thrilled with the outcome.

  1. The necktie is all the rave for little girls right now, isn’t it? I made Annalyn try on a couple things that were ADORABLE last week (one with a real necktie – SO CUTE, and one with a faux tie like Lily’s wearing in one of the pics up there), and she hated them both. Lucky for her, they didn’t fit well either, so they didn’t come home with us. Boo.

Anyway, your headless kiddo looks great in all of those outfits, but the yellow striped dress is my favorite!
