A Tigger and Pooh Giveaway

I am on a spring break road trip and all out of sorts. Time change, too much time in a car, meeting up with old friends and drinking wine….my mind is mush. So how about you benefit from my current lack of brain power to write a post?

Do your kids like Pooh like my kids like Pooh? Actually I like Pooh too (Just to be clear I am talking about the bear. The other kind….not so much). On April 6th, Disney is releasing a new My Friends Tigger & Pooh DVD, Super Duper Super Sleuths. It explores one of my latest favorite topics, healthy eating. Somehow I think my kids might receive it better from their favorite cartooned friends than their mom harping on them to finish their broccoli.

My girls watched it last weekend and gave it two thumbs up. They came up to tell me that when they eat spinach, they get strong. I said, “Yep, that is true.” “And when you eat carrots you get super eyesight!!!” “Yep, that is true too.” And when Darby eats celery, she can fly!!!!!!!”……. “Um, yeah, that probably isn’t going to happen. But we can try?”

Anyway, it is a good message. Would you like to win a copy of the DVD? Leave me a comment telling me your kid’s favorite healthy veggie. As Jamie Oliver has taught us, french fries don’t count. Bummer. You can get an extra entry if you are a subscriber, Facebook fan or Twitter follower. Leave a separate comment for each. So that will give you up to 4 chances to win. I will draw a winner Sunday night, April 11th.

  29. So this is slightly embarassing and shows just how far we moms will go to get our kids to eat veggies….my kids LOVE asparagus becasue (drum roll) it makes their pee stink. Daddy told them that one and it may be the sole reason they love it, but I don’t really care. They eat it and they eat a ton of it!
